Mt. Baker Rally

The Mt. Baker Rally is one of our longest running events and takes us through some amazing areas to drive in the PNW!  The group will be meeting at the Fairhaven Park and Ride at 10am with a driver’s meeting scheduled for 10:30am.  Once the driver’s meeting has been completed, we’ll warm up the engines and head out until we reach the start of Chuckanut Drive, one of the most well-known and fun roads to drive on in the area.  From Chuckanut Drive, we’ll head down Bow-Hill Rd until we reach old Hwy 9 and head north.  We’ll head east once we reach Hwy 542 which takes us the rest of the way up to the Mt. Baker.  The road to Artist Point is usually closed this time of year so we will most likely stop at Heather Meadows Visitor Center which is located about a mile below Artist Point.  If Artist Point is open, we will go all the way to the top.  This is a roughly 2hr drive and about 80 miles each way.  We do not have any stops planned but there is a gas station located at the turn onto Hwy 542 that you can refuel at if needed.
