Mt. Rainier Rally

***We’re currently working with the Mt. Rainier National Park to obtain proper licensing for this event and route will depend on if proper licensing can be obtained

This event takes the group up to Mt. Rainier for a beautiful drive with a stop at Crystal Mountain Resort before ending the trip at Paradise on Mt. Rainier.  The group will meet at the Enumclaw Fairgrounds at 10am and we may host a group drive to the meet up location from the north end of Seattle.  Driver’s meeting will be held at 10:30am and we hit the roads shortly after.  We’ll be taking Hwy 410 up to the exit for Crystal Mountain Resort where we’ll have a 30 minute stop for pictures and video footage.  From Crystal Mountain Resort, we’ll head back out on 410 and turn right onto 123 where we’ll continue south until we come to Stevens Canyon Road, a road that only opens for a few short months each year.  This leg of the rally takes us through some very breathtaking scenery with Mt. Rainier in view almost the entire way up.  We’ll take Stevens Canyon Road until we reach the turn off to Paradise and head right, continuing up Mt. Rainier until we reach the parking area.  The group will end the trip here but we encourage everyone to walk around and explore the area.  We also encourage everyone to take the eastern route down Paradise as you make your way back home.  This will take you out of the main entrance into the park but down a different route that is just as scenic as the route we take on the way up.
