PNW Drives Meet and Greet

This event will be weather dependent.  Please keep an eye on the club’s private Facebook page for updates.  We’ll also do our best to notify everyone through the club’s newsletter.

As long as weather holds up, we are planning on hosting a small meet and greet as well as a drive through Anacortes and ending at Deception Pass State Park.  This will be a great time to get to know the other club members, pick up member packets, apply your new club stickers, and hopefully enjoy a little sunshine.  We plan on meeting at our usual location under the twin bridges at the Swinomish Boat Launch in Mt. Vernon, WA.  Meet time will be 10am, member meet and great/pick up member packets until 10:30am, driver’s meeting around 10:30am, and roll out shortly after.  We’ll be taking the group down SR-20 into Anacortes until we reach Cap Sante State Park.  There isn’t enough room to park so this will be a loop once we hit the top.  From there, we’ll head to Washington Park for a slow drive through an area of the park a lot of people don’t know about. It’s a slow ride along the waterfront and through the trees with some great scenery along the way. Once we leave Washington Park, the group will head up to Whidbey Island and cross over Deception Pass Bridge until we get to Deception Pass State Park which is where we’ll end the rally.
